There's something I really really REALLY am getting pissed off about and it seems to be people's assumption of mah webcomic, Twilight Abridged. In both real life and here on DA. God, how much do I have to emphasize these facts to separate people so much it PISSES the shit out of me that makes me want to leave my life. Is it just the word "Twilight" that makes you all just go "omg geez another twilight fan over here lets ditch this beetch." I work hard on this thing for a fucen reason but if its just a whole bunch of assumptions over it, it's not gonna do for me and is pretty unacceptable. Here are commonly mistaken things and will be cleared up now with a couple statements from people in real life.

1. "Is Twilight Abridged a comic about the actual Twilight series?"
This is the most commonly asked question and the answer is NO. Twilight Abridged is a comic against ( I'll say it again AGAINST) Twilight. My reason for actually creating the comic was around its main craze which to me everyone seemed to be praising a piece of crap so why not make a piece of crap comic that the anti-Twilight people can praise about instead of griping and dealing with the constant bullcrap. Twilight abridged is the super condensed retarded version of the actual story

2. "Half the story doesn't make any sense."
85% of the actual series made no sense. So I could only use the really main, general idea and little to no specifics.

3. The assumption that this story starts at Midnight Sun.
This story revolves mostly around Edward in the case that Bella has no personality whatsoever. There's no point in wrapping a story around a character which even in the parody version has no personality if its gonna make the story boring mush. So who else is left thats a main character? Well its Edward. Least he's retarded enough to lighten up practically the whole story. Besides Midnight Sun is just a re written version of Twilight so theres not much of a point.

4. The idea this story spreads things like anti-religion/homophobia/etc.
This was one of the major gaps in Twilight Abridged I had to jump over, to Carlisle's story where he mentions that God betrayed him and Rosalie's constant use of the word "faggot". In the case of religion, I do not have one I follow Chinese tradition and my mom doesn't want me to start drawing anything pro religion which is problematic as she actually looks at my arts for any religion supporting things (even to just drawing a house which someone has a crucifix on their wall or something). Now along with the homophobia assumption. I am not homophobic. I support for anyone a person loves even if its a person of same sex. I wanted to make the story have more realistic characters instead of a stereotypical happy family thing and in the family I know of, theres [at least] one homophobic jerk or someone who doesn't know how touchy this subject is. Of course theres the reason for Rosalie using that term but that will be further explained in a comic to avoid spoilers and pissing my editor off.

5. "Everything about the characters are incorrect"
Well too bad I didn't read the damn book. My editor did so she tells me as much as she recalls. Plus some personalities were changed for humor purposes.

Is it really so complicated to get an emphaisis if its told to separate people? Its a constant repitition of these things/statements and I have to keep repeating myself over and over. I am not blaming anybody in specifics ( like lets say a person new to the series who doesn't know ) but I mean since its exposure on DA it seems almost everybody just says how much Twilight is crap or asking if I like the book. With only a few people actually understanding the reason or even care about the damn thing. Its getting pretty annoying and if thats the case I might have to make a secondary account which will make me spend months into settling and putting in work. I don't want to do that but if thats the last resort, I'm afraid that's what I HAVE to do. I mean is it really that hard to understand such an idea? seriously.
